Excellent, easy way to brew coffee. Simply place freshly ground coffee in glass beaker and fill with nearly boiling water. Steep for a few minutes, press down on stem to trap all grounds at bottom and pour. Stainless, re-usable filters. The Shin has made a few improvements on prior plunger pots by the same manufacturer. It has a rubberized, sturdy handle, a decent sized plunger knob that is flattened for comfort when pushing grounds downward, and, a very attractive clean stainless design for the lid. We highly recommend plunger pots for full, clean tasting coffee. 34 ounce is a common size - about 4 cups.
